It’s been almost a year since the fateful week in March 2020 that turned our world as we knew it upside down.
As dorm rooms were packed up, offices closed their doors and the word “Zoom” was added to our vocabulary, fear and unease were top of mind and we dealt with the reality of the coronavirus pandemic.
Here we are, one year later.
While the world we live in today looks a lot like it did in March 2020, we have to acknowledge the improvement and strides we have taken in the past 12 months.
The light at the end of the tunnel is in sight, we are so close.
With the announcement of a third vaccine, and the promise that all Americans may be vaccinated by the summer, the return to a more normal life is within our reach — we just need to continue to push on so we can reach this point.
The Fit community is here to be a resource as we endure this stretch of the pandemic. We want to help our readers make the most of their college experience right now, develop positive techniques to deal with pandemic growing pains and continue to dress for success, even if the only place you are going is to your desk for Zoom class.
Keep your head up. The end is near and the return to normal life will be well worth the wait.
